Policies and FAQs
-
Absolutely. All of our classes welcome all levels, and our instructors are trained to meet you where you are. If you want to ease in, Body Smart is designed to build your foundation at a slower pace. But plenty of first-timers jump straight into Total Body and never look back. Either way, you belong here.
-
Evolve is born in classical training but we train on the XFormer — the premier modern Pilates machine on the market — which creates a low-impact, high-intensity experience that traditional Pilates equipment simply can't match. Add in deliberate cardio bursts, a boutique small-group setting, and instructors who are committed to your results, and you have something genuinely different.
-
No — and the difference matters. Club Pilates and most classical studios use a traditional Reformer. Evolve trains on the XFormer, a more advanced spring-resistance machine with fixed platforms, dual pulley systems, and a broader exercise library. The result is a high-intensity, low-impact full-body workout with deliberate cardio bursts built in — something a traditional Reformer isn't designed to deliver. Same foundational principles, meaningfully different experience.
-
A few things set us apart. We train on the XFormer — the most advanced spring-resistance machine on the market, a significant evolution beyond the traditional Reformer. Every instructor is personally trained by founder Dana Romanosky, a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher since 2012. Classes are capped at 10 people so your instructor can actually see you throughout the entire 50 minutes. And the studio is bright, naturally lit, and built for the work — not the aesthetic. If you've tried other studios and felt like a number, this is different.
-
Every class is capped at 10 people. That's a deliberate choice. It's the number at which an instructor can genuinely see every person in the room throughout a 50-minute class, offer real-time corrections, and know enough about each client to modify when something doesn't look right. Small on purpose.
-
Absolutely. About 5% of our clients are men — and that number is growing. The XFormer builds functional strength, core stability, and body awareness that transfers directly to every sport and activity. Surfers, golfers, runners, and weightlifters all find something here they can't get anywhere else. The shake doesn't discriminate.
-
Yes — the XFormer is low-impact and our instructors are trained to offer modifications. Always consult your physician first, and let your instructor know before class so they can support you.
-
If you are pregnant or postpartum and have been cleared by your doctor to exercise, Evolve is a wonderful low-impact option for staying strong. Please arrive a few minutes early to connect with your instructor and go over any modifications before class begins.
-
Stronger, leaner muscles. Better posture and balance. A deeper connection to your body and breath. Most clients notice they feel different within just a few classes — and the physical changes follow. Your total evolution starts here.
-
No experience necessary. Our instructors will get you set up on the XFormer and guide you through every movement. Body Smart is a great place to start if you want to learn the method at a slower pace — but Total Body is all levels too. Just show up.
-
Expect a structured, intentional 50-minute workout. Class begins with a short warm-up to get your heart moving, then works through your full body — core, legs, and upper body — with deliberate cardio bursts along the way, and closes with a cool down. Every client is invited to evolve their body and mind through movement and breath.
If it's hard, that's okay. Our instructors are there for you every step of the way and will offer modifications to meet you where you are. We keep our classes small on purpose — so our instructors have eyes on you and can support your form throughout. Show up, try anyway, and you'll leave feeling stronger, longer, and more energized. That's what keeps people coming back.
-
One class a week is a great start. Two classes a week is where you'll really find your groove. Three classes a week is where real change happens — in your strength, your posture, and the way you feel every day.
-
It comes straight from Joseph Pilates himself: 10 sessions to feel the difference, 20 sessions to see the difference, 30 sessions to have a brand new body. It's held up for over a century because it's true. One class gives you a taste. Ten classes changes how you feel. Twenty changes how you look. Thirty changes everything. Our intro packages are designed to get you started — the rest is showing up.

Your First Class
If this is your first class at Evolve, please arrive 10 minutes early so we can get you checked in, show you around, and walk you through the XFormer before class begins. First-time clients who arrive after class has started will not be able to join — we want to make sure you have the best possible experience from the very first movement.
Grip socks are required. Bring a water bottle. And get ready to feel stronger, longer, and more energized.
-
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class. If you haven't checked in within 5 minutes of the start time, your spot may be given to a standby client. For the safety of everyone in class, late entry is not permitted after the 5-minute mark.
First time at Evolve? Please arrive 10 minutes early — see above.
