THE WORKOUT
With an emphasis on breath, alignment, and core strength, Evolve exercises are done on the XFormer, a spring-based machine that delivers a low-impact, high-intensity workout that is effective and transformative. Working each muscle group with continuous variable tension using slow and controlled movements creates real, lasting results. Deliberate cardio bursts stimulate circulation and promote a deeper sense of body awareness, which helps prevent future injury.
Evolve Total Body is a highly effective full-body workout designed to strengthen and tone all major muscle groups in only 50 minutes - leaving you feeling stronger, longer, and more energized. Quick transitions between exercises keep the intensity up while remaining low impact. All levels welcome.
Evolve Body Smart is a strength and recovery class that encompasses the essential moves of Evolve Total Body with a deeper focus on form, alignment, and breath with slower transitions between exercises. If you're not sure where to start, this is it.
Evolve Body Elevate is an advanced, 50 minute evolution of Total Body designed to push your limits. Expect dynamic variations, stacked cardio burst and nonstop movement to build strength, endurance and that signature shake.
THE MACHINE
The XFormer is an evolution of the classic Pilates reformer — and the premier modern Pilates machine on the market today, taught exclusively at Evolve Modern Pilates in Mount Pleasant, SC.. The fixed large platforms on either end of the frame and two sets of pulleys enable safer standing movements and a wider range of exercise options than traditional equipment.
The springs are the magic. They create continuous variable tension, meaning your muscles are working whether you're pushing against the spring or letting it assist you back. The result is safe, effective strength training that meets your body where it is — every time.
Build strong, lean muscles that add definition, not bulk.
STRENGTH
High-intensity, low-impact training that builds both cardiovascular and muscle endurance.
ENDURANCE
A focus on alignment and posture that improves balance and flexibility in every class.
BALANCE
Slow, controlled movements coordinated with your breath — building body awareness that prevents future injury.
